Description
If it's any consolation, native speakers of English themselves often make punctuation errors with commas. It's true that commas are used differently between German and English; it's also true that they are frequently used differently between British and American varieties of English. This two-hour workshop will introduce the conventions of (and rationales behind) comma use in academic writing and provide you with an opportunity to practice what's been preached.
