When it comes to the idea of giving a presentation, does your stomach drop? Do you experience nerves or feel as if your legs are going to give out from under you? Don't worry-you are not alone! In fact, there are more people who can relate to you than those who feel confident when presenting- especially in a language that is not their native language. Throughout this exciting online Friday Workshop, students will learn how to prepare killer presentations, master a few trusty tips to avoid feeling nervous when presenting and learn what professors look for in a good presentation. We will discuss how to present data, graphs, graphics, videos and photos in a useful and easy-to-understand way using mediums such as PowerPoint and Google Slides. You will leave the workshop with a strong idea of how to build a strong presentation, how to present with confidence and what to include in your presentations. See you there!
