Are you afraid of speaking aloud and/or to take part in discussions in class?
Come and learn to debate—without screaming, yelling, or namecalling. In this workshop, we will explore how to have polite discourse in spite of disagreements and how to make strong arguments. As a seasoned debater, the seminar leader will show you how formal debate skills can be applied to improve your everyday argumentation skills, and how you can successfully take part in your class’ discussions.
To better understand ourselves, we must learn to think for ourselves. Argumentation is a universal skill which is important for your job opportunities, relationships, and other interpersonal skills.
