Workshop-Beschreibung
In this two-hour workshop on the writing of academic English, we will become acquainted with the rhetorical functions of discrete sentence structures along with their conventional roles and likely order in optimal paragraph design. We’ll also anatomize the workings of exemplary paragraphs in diverse fields of study, noting, especially, those compositional features that allow for smooth transitions between both sentences and paragraphs. At every stage, we’ll apply what we learn through a series of exercises and review.
